Designing for trust in fintech

In financial products, trust is the product. If users do not trust the interface, they will not trust the company behind it.

Trust is built through clarity: clear language, predictable interactions, and visual signals that match the seriousness of the task. A banking app should not feel like a game. It should feel like a well-designed tool.

When we designed Meridian, we removed more than we added. Every element that survived had to justify its place. The result was a product that advisors trusted within three weeks.
